After completing the registration-form, you did not get a confirmation-email.
Some mail-servers only pickup new messages once every ten or fifteen minutes, sometimes even once every half hour.

We advise you to wait for at least a full hour and then check your email again.

If by then you still did not receive the confirmation-email, please use the contact form and click the link for problems.

You will be contacted by one of our administrators by email within the next 24 hours or they will re-send the confirmation-email to the email-address you've provided in the registation-form.

If you have provided an invalid (non-existing) emailaddress, the request can not be granted and the account will be removed without further notice.
The confirmation-code seems to be invalid.
Please check your confirmation-email for possible line-breaks inside the confirmation-code.

If this seems to be the case, please copy the first line into a standard text-editor (such as 'Notepad') and remove the last '=' from the first line.
Then copy/paste the rest of the code from the next line after the piece of text in your editor.

Now select the complete code from your editor and copy/paste this in the address-bar of your browser.
The confirmation-code should look something like:
"http://www.thelostworlds.com/confirm.php?email=youremail@yourmailserver.com&code=(40random characters)"
Where (40 random characters) are 40 random characters without the ( ) signs.
Your password seems to be invalid.
Please check your confirmation-email. Your password should be listed there.
Also check your 'caps lock' key. If your 'caps lock' key is on, your password may fail because of this.

If this seems to be the case, please switch your 'caps lock' key off and try again.
Otherwise, use the 'Forgot Pwd' button next to the 'Log On' field and fill out the requested items.
Within the next hour, you will receive an email with your username and password at the emailaddress registered for your account.
You forgot your password.
Use the 'Forgot Pwd' button next to the 'Log On' field and fill out the requested items.
Within the next hour, you will receive an email with your username and password at the emailaddress registered for your account.
You've changed your password, but you cannot log on with the new password.
Please check your email. You should have received an email with your password listed there.

You've changed your emailaddress, but now you must enter a confirmation-code.
This is standard behaviour.
Because of the change of emailaddress, you must confirm the new emailaddress by entering the confirmation-code send to you in a confirmation-email to both your new and your old emailaddress.

Check your confirmation-email for possible line-breaks inside the confirmation-code.

If you have provided an invalid (non-existing) emailaddress for the new emailaddress, the confirmation can not be executed and the account will be removed without further notice.
The buttons do not seem to function.
This is most likely a browser-setting.

Although we do our best to keep as many browser happy as possible, we only test this site for usage with Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Mozilla's Firefox.

If you are using Opera, change its setting to 'identify' as 'Internet Explorer'.

If you are using an other browser, try installing Mozilla's Firefox. We highly recommend it.

If you do not have the option to install an other browser, we can not accomodate you.
The page, area, topic, or entry does not respond.
Either the server is too busy handling requests, or there is a problem with the network-speed.

Our site is known for slow responsed through dial-up (modem) connections.

We recommend a broadband internet connection or a dial-up connection with at least 64kb download speed (ISDN).
The [ edit ] link does not work.
This may be a browser-issue, or you may not have access to the editing-function.

Our website is tested for Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Mozilla's Firefox only.
All other browsers are not supported and may or may not work as expected.

If you believe this is not a browser-issue, please use the contact form and click the link for problems.

You will be contacted by one of our administrators by email within the next 24 hours or they will deal with the problem directly.
The [ edit ] link seems to be missing.
This is default behaviour, if you do not have access to the editing-function.

If you believe this is incorrect, please use the contact form and click the link for problems.

You will be contacted by one of our administrators by email within the next 24 hours or they will deal with the problem directly.
The changes do not show after editing.
Do not refresh your browser by pressing the 'F5' key, as this will only 'resend' the data.
'Log off' and close your browser window.

Open the site again and check if the changes show.
If the changes still do not show, now try pressing the 'F5' key.
If this does not help, please use the contact form and click the link for problems.

You will be contacted by one of our administrators by email within the next 24 hours or they will deal with the problem directly.
